October Activities

October was packed full of activities as well...here are a few highlights...

The kids and I took one last trip to the zoo with some friends before the weather cooled off. This was Kamryn's first trip and she was utterly unimpressed:).

Sibling love! :)

Carter and his friend, Reese, hanging out with the huge pythons:

The new exhibit for the African animals at the Dallas Zoo was really cool, we especially liked the giraffes!

Another big highlight this month was Carter's first official sleepover at our house. His cousin, Avery, got to come and spend the night - they had such a great time! Here they are making their pizzas for dinner:

We also went to play at a local play area with a grass maze, here they are all showing off their shades!:)

Carter & Avery, they are such great cousins and friends!

The whole family went down to College Station for Kamryn's first Aggie football game. Again, she wasn't too impressed, but it was fun to experience it with both kiddos.

And of course, we have pictures of Halloween costumes this year...

September Activities

September was full of fun activities...Carter and Ryan headed back to College Station for some Aggie football, we enjoyed a lovely evening at the Plano Balloon Festival, and we participated in our annual class camping trip to Robber's Cave for the last time.

Carter's favorite part: watching the band and corps march in to Kyle Field.

A few of the balloons we saw launched at the Balloon Festival:

Staking our claim on the hillside and settling in for our picnic dinner:

Of course, Carter wanted to take a picture himself...he did a pretty good job actually getting us in the picture!:)

Balloon Glow!

Carter's favorite part of our annual trip to Robber's Cave is the Saturday morning hike. Kamryn got to join in the fun this year; here we are, ready to go!

Happy Baby!

Ryan & Carter worked their way to the top of every spot they could find...Kamryn & I chose to stay on surfaces where I was more sure-footed:).

Mid-September we also enjoyed seeing our new nephew, Landon Lewis Williams, dedicated at Trent & Laura's church in Frisco. Here is a great pic of the whole family (minus Nathan) after the dedication.

Check out our new blog!

Most of you have already seen it, but I thought I should officially mention it...

We have started a new blog to keep everyone updated with the many changes going on as we transition to Romania and also to keep a journal of our experiences throughout this process. Feel free to share our new blog with anyone that may be interested, we'd love to have more people involved and praying for us as we start this journey!

I still plan to keep this blog updated, primarily for family and close friends. It will focus more on the kiddos, pictures, silly activities, and other things that may not be of great interest to the general public.

With that said, I will now try to catch up from the past several months and post some pics of the highlights... brace yourselves!:)

Cereal!

Kamryn's first attempt at eating cereal... messy, but successful!

Four years later, Carter still prefers to be fed like a baby:)

4th Annual Boudreau Family "Camping" Weekend

A couple weekends ago we enjoyed our annual weekend away with the Boudreaus. This year, we rented a lake house on Cedar Creek Lake. As always, it was fun to hang out and relax with the family; the kiddos swam in the lake, adults played games, and all enjoyed homemade ice cream & S'mores, what more can you ask for?

The weekend started with a devastating injury that clearly required the assistance of all...Avery's splinter!

I don't know who to official "winner" was, but we all enjoyed several games of Ladderball.

Heading out on the pontoon boat for a little fishin' and a little swimmin'

Kamryn's first boat ride! (We attempted follow safety regulations, but the life vest didn't end up staying on too long:).)

Ryan was determined to catch a fish this year, and he did!

Yummmmmy!

Visit to the Great-Grandparents

Time to catch up on our blogging...

About a month ago, we went up to Springfield, CO to visit the great-grandparents who had yet to meet baby Kamryn. It was a wonderfully relaxing week on the farm and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with them.

Uncle Monty with Carter, Tylynn, & Dane after a ride on the tractor

Traditional picture in the tractor tire, now with two kiddos!

Carter had such fun playing with Tylynn (Ryan's cousin Laura's little girl)

On occasion, Carter has gotten in trouble for digging holes in our backyard, so Ryan promised him that they would dig lots of holes up on the farm.

Little did I know, their hole-digging adventures would lead to an extravagant system of lakes & rivers!:)

Carter & Ryan also did a little yard work and helped remove an unwanted bush.

We enjoyed a picnic with the Williams grandparents at the Springfield park, Kamryn had her first official ride in a swing!

Another traditional picture on the antique tractor at the park.

Four Generations!

After many attempts at a family picture, this was the best we could get (notice how excited Carter is...)

These are my favorite pictures of each of them from the trip. Such cuties!:)
